Biography
Sarah J. Vance is a Senior Partner at American Lawyers Group, heading our Family Law and Divorce departments. She brings over 18 years of experience representing clients in high-stakes divorces, custody battles, division of multi-million dollar assets, and estate administration in Northern Virginia. Sarah is highly respected for her compassionate client management style and her strategic, analytical approach to complex marital assets.
Sarah believes that the best family law outcomes are built on clear objectives, forensic financial planning, and skilled negotiation. However, when negotiations stall, Sarah is a fierce advocate in family court. She is also a certified family law mediator, helping couples resolve sensitive disputes collaboratively when possible.
